Taiwan The IPX402/IPX404 IP PBX from Soundwin Network Inc. combines standard SIP telephony solution. It can be used as a standalone unit or connected to existing phone systems. Available in two- or four-port versions, the unit uses Asterisk open source. It features PBX system functions such as call hold/waiting/parking, three-way conferencing, in-line call transfer/forwarding and group-based call pick-up, as well as supports five concurrent calls. Other PBX features include voice mail, multifolder archiving, 50min recording with fast forward/rewind/undelete functions, MWI and e-mail notification, personal reception on unavailability and busy signal, voice mail forwarding, and voice mail to e-mail transfer.
The model’s built-in SIP proxy server follows the RFC-3261 SIP standard. It supports password authentication using MD5 digest and RFC2833 for DTMF relay, NAT traversal for clients, outbound proxy with or without WAN and inter-proxy call hand-off. It has auto-configuration of SIP phones, configurable IVR prompts, timeout interval and action, music on ringing extensions and forward-to-voice mail on on-answer.
