Taiwan Essence Technology Solution Inc. has released the IPBX-1802, a PBX that features four-port FXO/FXS modules. The unit handles up to 50 extension registrants, 50 voice mail accounts and 15 concurrent calls. It runs on Monta Vista Linus (Kernel 2.4.20) platform and supports G.711 and G.723.1 voice codecs. It has a built-in SIP server; SIP proxy; voice mail server that supports MWI and provides e-mail notification; auto attendant server; and IP phone auto provision server. Its Interactive Voice Response (IVR) feature supports three layers of auto attendant (AA) tree and auto call distribution (ACD). It has T.30 or realtime T.38 fax support, HTTP 1.0/1.1 and HTTPS encryption, as well as a Web-based GUI for remote management and user authentication.
The model features call hold, call transfer, call forward, call park, call pick-up, music on hold, three-way conference, caller ID and DID. It supports Meet-me conference calls for up to eight parties.
