Taiwan – Futune Co. Ltd offers model FGW-432, an in-car GPS device that integrates a 4.3in touchscreen TFT LCD, an Mstar GPS chip, a Samsung 2440 400MHz processor, a 64MB flash ROM and an SD card slot that supports up to 2GB. The model’s time-to-first-fix (TTFF) is 2s at hot start, 43s at warm start or 55s at cold start. Its position fix is up to 10m in speeds of 0.1m/s and its update rate is 1Hz.

The FGW-432 works on Microsoft Windows CE .NET 5.0. It plays back WAV, MP3 and WMA audio files; AVI, MPEG-4, WMV and 3GP video formats; JPEG, GIF and BMP images; and TXT, PDF, CHM documents.

The GPS device runs on a built-in 1200mAh rechargeable Li-polymer battery, or 5V DC or 100V to 240V via an adapter. OSD is in Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Korean, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish. Dimensions are 122x85x21mm and weight is 215g.

The product is shipped with a cigarette lighter adapter, a USB cable, an SD card, a stylus, a windshield dock and a user’s manual.
